Hi Roland,
If you click on the link in my previous reply, it will take you to a topic about ETHELLs in Australia, which I/we presume is where you want to join in. Just click on the "reply" button on that topic.
regards,
Bob
ps:
please don't keep locking this topic otherwise we won't be able to reply :)

Welcome to Rootschat Roland,
It is a grand forum for helping with family history research for our ancestors. I am not related to your Ethell family. I do frequent the Australian Board at RChat, and I noticed your topic heading earlier today as it mentions "Australia".
As Berlin Bob wrote, please do click on the link in his reply. (That's the bit in the blue writing. click on it as though you are clicking on a live link in an incoming email). It will take you to the (thread) topic that "dortmund" started. He has not been online since mid August this year. And, as you have not posted a reply on that thread, the chances are that none of the RChatters who have posted on that thread are aware that you have joined RChat. By posting on that thread that dortmund started, it is likely that all the RChatters who did post on that thread will receive a notification from the Back Office section of RChat that someone has made a post on that thread.
Once you have made three posts at RChat you are then able to send and receive personal messages. That way you could send a PM directly to any other RChatter. In that way, you could perhaps consider contacting "Trevor" to offer to provide them with your private contact details.
Many many cheers, JM (NSW Australia centric).
