Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could try and find the graves of my great great great great grandparents Andrew Mclellan and Sarah McCallum. He was 1816-1891 and she was 1818-1863. Both born in Luss and both died in Dunbarton.
Thanks,
Gary

does the 1863 death certificate not have place of burial on it. I know they had in the 1850's, but I am not sure if it stopped by 1863.

No it doesn't say, I know they still done it in 1856 but it stopped by 1861 .I'm sure
I've managed to get a few crontacts to help me and they managed to find them. Sarah was buried in uncommon ground do its impossible knowing where she is buried but with Andrew he is in a proper lair with 3 others, one being his sister in law so I'm hoping there's a head stone, still to hear back from the burial service people in Dunbarton.
Thanks,
Gary

The area of common ground is fairly well set out in Dumbarton Cemetery, and a number of my relatives are there also. I can take a picture for you if you wish.

That would be great! Thank you, I don't know if there's any indication on the sections and so on but she is buried in section C class B.
