Looking for parents of THOMAS WHITE babt 01/07/1827 ,BRADFIELD,BERKSHIRE.
We would like to find parents ,,could possibly be RICHARD WHITE and MARY MILLSON but we cannot prove ,any help at all to clarify ,

Hi,
On Familysaecrh org'. free site.There is a baptism of Thomas White 1/7/1827 Bradfield, Berkshire. Parents Richard and Mary White.

Obtaining his marriage certificate would confirm father's name

If your Thomas White did marry Emma Alder here's his marriage confirms his father named as Richard

26th Nov 1854 St Mary the Virgin Norwood Green

The IGI (Familysearch) has this marriage;
Ashampstead, Berks;
30-10-1824 Richard White to Mary Millson
Looking at my parish map Ashampstead is next to Bradfield.

Problem is there is another marriage in Reading in 1822 to a Maryann Cutter

thank you all for replies ,and yes thats our problem putting the right RICHARD with THOMAS,was hoping to get confirmation worth a shot ,any other help would be grateful .

The marriage sounds right i,m looking into it now will get back to you,the other problem we have which is causing confusion is the 2 Richards ,one born 1802 Ashamstead ,berks ,spouse ,ELIZABETH FRENCH ,marriage 17 dec 1831,Bradfield Berks ,the other  born 28th feb 1802, Clewer berks, ,parents ,JOSEPH WHITE and SARAH,according to info i have RICHARD and ELIZABETH m1831 had a son HENRY J WHITE in 1827 Thatcham berks ,?? ,from Family search ,i have THOMAS WHITE babt 01/07/1827 Bradfield Berks ,parents are RICHARD WHITE and MARY MILLSON marriage 30/10/1824 ,Mary died 1830??,is it at all possible that it is the same RICHARD re-married ELIZABETH FRENCH 1831??.

Hi,
Although you would need the Thomas White marriage cert to absolutely prove his father, my research shows that the Richard White of Ashampstead who married Mary Millson (on my tree) also married Elizabeth French (also on my tree), the common denominator being Richard and Mary's daughter, Ann 1830, in the 1841 census.
