i am looking for my family. John Stone married Alice Reynolds in Deopham Norfolk
march 1884. and from what i have found out they had 11 children,
JOHN 1883
MARIA 1885-1891 I THINK,
lettice (Letitia) Stone 1889. THINK she got married in 1908, Thorney Eke to Letitia stone Marriages Mar 1908 can not find much about her . and all the others are on the 1911 census.

Francis Walter 1900 ( my grandfather)
Violet 1905
Edith May 1906
Arthur 1910
and one more a visitor Alice Cousins (Domestic General and she was Single and was about 23. )

you that but i may not have made it clear, it is john the son Johns son. born 1883 is
this is from the 1901 census,

but can not find nothing more on him. we now that some of the boys of (dad john ) was in the war. as john and the older boys were thatcher's as my grandfather took on the the job when they were away and he was 11 in 1911.
the family were thatcher s from from 1800 may before that, in deopham. till the war. do not now how long after that. we are looking at the frist world war.

I guess he was born before they got married and he is the John William Reynolds born in Forehoe registration district First Quarter 1884. Cannot find a John W Stone born in the same time period

it looks right. as it say in the census he was born be they got married. and that could be way i can not find him. i look and see unter that name.

i have just had a look on the 1911 census and can not find john. as it is getting late will look another and see what i can come up with.

There a few STONE members mentioned in various parts of the web site, such as grave stones, Trades etc. I web site well worth a visit..
Also note that a George Stone was publican of the "BlackSmiths Arms" Deopham 1861-1875, info "Norfolk Pubs".

thank-you Blue-Spirit. i have not done much of the family tree in some time. but you are right about the web site it is good one, and i have been on it before. you said. the person whom done it, his family comes from deopham, and his family line is the same as mine, i find the web site then find him on genes.

Awesome so near to me. I'm in wymondham, my dads in wymondham and my brother is in hardingham.
Last night I read a lot about stones in deopham but don't know if all of them are realated.
Wow got distant relatives so close :).
I'm looking at both sides of my grandparents and only been on here since yesterday evening and so much has happened.

deopham is where the stones come from. and the phoenix are family as well.in the at the start of the 1800. but you have a long way to go.

I know that a terry darkins married my nans sister April and there is peter stone and his wife and there should be some others around.
Who's in wymondham that are the stones if you don't mind me asking?
