Hi,
I am tracing my mothers side of our family and have hit a brick wall.
I have traced relatives to Jersey and as such can't get any more details. I hope some one can do a look up for me.
I am trying to get information about the marriage for:
Frederick Thomason, born about 1872 in Widnes Lancashire and Jane (or Jeanne) Ollivier born about 1873 on Jersey. I believe the marriage would be around 1891 or 1892
I would also like to get more information about the birth of W H Thomason, a son, born 1892 in Jersey.
I am hoping someone can help,
Ian Cook

This sounds as if it should be your couple but there are a few discrepancies such as their ages and places of birth but it seems unlikely that another couple with the same names would marry at that time. These 2 married at St Saviour's parish church on 1st July 1891
Frederick Thomason, aged 24, bachelor, occupation Private 1st S L I, living in St Helier, born in Towcester, Northampton. Father Frederick Thomason - Brick Layer
Jeanne Ollivier, aged 25, spinster, no occupation, living in St Saviour, born Lanloup, Cote d'Armor. Father Pierre Ollivier - Farmer.
The witnesses were Albert Huges and Annie Ollivier

Thank you, however this creates another mystery regarding Frederick's place of birth and age. I will have to branch out from here.
