I've been trying to find info on Peter Renwick & Jannet Smith cant find there births their deaths or a marriage I found Jannet on the 1841 census aged 50 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1791
Born Dumfriesshire, Scotland
Civil parish: Morton
Address:
Thornhill South Side Of New Street All the children are born in Morton. I know they had past away before 1873 as it states this on there son's death cert it also says Peter was a Road contrator did find a Peter in the 1841 census living with a John Smith any help would be great

Not sure whether this will help.

On Family Search there is a Agnes Renwick baptised  12 August 1781- Dumfries - maybe Peter's sister. 

Also found Peter Renwick & Jannet Smith's four children, the earliest born 1812, which may give you an idea of the year they married.

Joseph Renwick  bapt. 5 March 1812  Morton
Mary Renwick   bapt. 15 Sept. 1822  Morton nr. Thornhill
Agnes Renwick  bapt.  12 Sept. 1824  Morton nr. Thornhill
Janet Renwick   bapt.  8 Feb. 1829 Morton nr. Thornhill
