Title: Brown. / Frame. Carluke. And Lesmahagow

Would anyone have any information on  Agnes Fram/e and James Brown. They married in 1805.
James was of Carluke parish and Agnes of Lesmahagow parish. I have their OPR record.

I also have a death record for Agnes, Muirskyehead, (farm)  Carluke 1843.

They also lived at Wellrigs nearby where daughter Agnes Broun was born in 1823

I would like to find the parents of James and Agnes. Cheers Margaret.

Hello Margaret,

I was just searching on Wellrigs and your message came up, even though you made it last year.

Agnes and James were my g-g-g-g-grandparents. My g-g-g-grandfather, Robert, was born at Wellrigs on 17 Feb 1810. He also had a brother James, he is the witness on Roberts death record.
This is the only information I have on them apart from their marriage record. I have looked ay Wellrigs on Google Earth and can see the farm is still there. I am based down in England so all my searching is online. Robert married Margaret Davidson and ended up in New Lanark where he died a pauper.
