Hope this is OK to post. I wonder if anyone could translate the attached obituary for me from the Neue Freie Presse. My German is OK, but I'm getting a bit confused with who is sister, brother, sister in law, wife etc etc!! Some of the text is hard to decipher as well as I'm not familiar with the font. Can recommend this site, especially for Jewish genealogy as the obituaries are quite detailed. Its just a shame you cant search it!

Thank you! Now to put all the relevant names in the right places!

there was a small mistake at Enkelkinder.
Josepha and Klara were both female, have corrected it. :)

Would this be His & Her Burials, sharing the same or adjoining tombs in the Kozma utca Jewish cemetery Budapest?
1758. Deutsch Károly 1827-1911 Kozma utca - Budapest 3 jobbA 51 32
1765. Deutsch Károlyné Kohn Róza ?-1913 Kozma utca - Budapest 3 jobb 51 32
It assumes Carl was also known as Karoly and Rita Deutsch nee Cohn (Cohen) was Kohn Róza.

You regret that there is no index or searching facility Kateincornwall.
If its Budapest Death notices that interest you, (often both in German and Hungarian) a local group is doing their best to put that right.
Their coverage is not 100% but some indexed coverage is better than none at all.
So try these.
One, indexing the State collection of Death notices goes alphabetically, the other which lists many decades of entries in a local newspaper uses: 'Find.'
