You can see Burnett Street on the old maps at http://www.old-maps.co.uk/maps.html?coords=426540,533700
1962 is the latest on where it is still there

Hi,

It seems that Miriam's husband David died in 1906 aged 58 Sedgefield Durham (vol 10a 65).

Miriam died in 1918 aged 43 Auckland, Durham (vol 10a 269).

It seems you will have to order Edith's birth cert to find out any more info.

You could also try to look at or contact the County Durham Records Office which holds the records for Sedgefield Workhouse.
