Title: John Gregory marriage 1860 Bristol to Elizabeth Griffin
Post by: Blubell17 on Monday 03 September 12 16:55 BST (UK)
Hi,

Could anyone possibly look up the marriage of John Gregory to Elizabeth Griffin Dec 1860 Bristol vol 6a page 48. John was a widow when he married Elizabeth, but I know nothing about Elizabeth, or even if I have the right marriage. I've been able to eliminate some and dismiss others leaving this as the most likely one John's Father was William Gregory, a spade tree maker.

Any help would be much appreciated
Thank you
Dee :)

Hi Jackie,

Thanks for taking the time to respond to my post.
I think the marriage you have is correct in all aspects, and seeing as they were both widows I think the census which I have checked , confirms that she was married to Geoorge Griffin then John Gregory.

Thanks very much
Dee
