Hi;
Could anyone search for Robert Taylor in the 1901 Census.
Robert Taylor, Head, M, born about 1875, Alloa, Clackmann
Jane, Wife, born about 1875
Robert Dodds Taylor, Son, born about 1890
William Dodds Taylor, Son, born about 1894
George Dodds Taylor, Son, born about 1898
Robert Taylor might not be on the census because he went to war or something.
I have tried to access the 1901 census myself but could get through.
Thank you very much. :)

Hi
Can you help me to help you? Do you know where exactly or roughly the three boys were born?

The three boys were born in Alloa, Clackmann. Because on my grandfathers birth cert. it says that he was born in Alloa.
Thanks

Hi Lilly012000
I think perhaps your dates may be a bit out for the children you put down. Reason being is that I found a marriage
27th July 1900 Alloa, Church of Scotland
Groom = Robert Taylor 20 Bachelor Labourer
Groom's parents = Robert Reid Taylor Blacksmith
Janet Taylor nee Brown( deceased)
Bride = Jane Dodds 21 Spinster
Brides parents = William Dodds Roper Spinner
Jane Dodds nee Beattie
Witnesses not sure if just two or three = Isabella Dodds & William Brown Leslie Graham.
There are no spaces between the four named witness so I assume it is all one name.
Now on the 1901 census going on the above being the people who you are asking after
living at Greenfield Street, Alloa, Clackmannan
Robert Taylor 20 General labourer
Jane Taylor 21
Robert R Taylor looks 1 month but could easily be 7 month.
I'll leave it with you to ponder over.

Well thank you for looking up this for me, but it doesn't for some reason sound like the right family. All the children carried Dodds as the middle name, Robert Dodds Taylor. But who knows I can be wrong on this one..
Thanks for your time ;D
