Title: Retrieving deleted files
Post by: rocky3 on Friday 31 August 12 07:15 BST (UK)
Hi,

does anyone know of a free programme to download to retrieve files I have accidentally deleted? I want to retrieve photo's that were in my recycle bin which I deleted.

Thanks for any help offered.

Hi rocky3,

Give this a go :

I once deleted something to try it out and it worked for me.

Kind regards,

Pels.

If you can use the first utility you find so much the better; the more you use your computer after the deletion the more likely it is that the disk space used by the original file will be overwritten and therefore unrecoverable. My advice would be 'quarantine' the machine and use another one if possible to try out recovery software then run that software from a USB or CD if possible rather than installing it on the machine with the deleted files.

Good luck!

Paul

:) Thanks for the advice. I have stopped using it until I could try and retrieve the files.
