Title: Harperbury Hospital. any ex-staff from 1931-1964 remember a patient?

A long shot, but I have no other ideas on how to find out anything more about the adult life of Herbert James DOCKING who died in 1964.

His death certificate stated that he was of Harperbury Hospital, Shenley (actually died at Clare Hall Hospital).

The health authority have no surviving records other than the fact of an admission for that name in 1931. He would presumably have been there from his mid twenties to mid/late fifties.

There is nothing at the Hertfordshire Archives or London Metropolitan Archives. No-one in the family has any information.

(I believe the following information refers to him: born 1907; briefly in Wimborne Workhouse; then in Melksham Workhouse; in Bristol Children's Hospital in the 1911 Census, aged 3. Bristol workhouse records were virtually all destroyed. Have a few more details but no need to post here.)

Thanks.
