Title: Dublin - Cudmore
Post by: joken on Wednesday 22 August 12 11:04 BST (UK)
Good evening,
Would someone be kind enough to help me link these Cudmore boys.
They resided in Ireland between 1740 - 1804 with the majority between 1740 and 1780

Henry Cudmore - Dublin
Richard Cudmore - Dublin/Co Armagh
John Cudmore - Dublin/Caherduff Limerick
Daniel Cudmore - Ballycahane Limerick
Edward Cudmore - Lickedoon Limerick
Paul Cudmore - Ballymartin
Edmund Cudmore - Longeville

I am sure they are all related but unsure as to how.
Joanne

You are looking for very early dates - do you have any approximate dates of birth for any of these names, or any details of which part of 'Dublin' (i.e. city, suburbs or county) ?

see: Introduction to Irish Records (http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,442233.0.html)

Hi there Joanne,

I have just seen that you are also researching this surname in Cork where you state that your family are originally from !

Are you trying to link these names listed on any actaul facts or just on the basis of them having the same surname ?

PS Shane....Can you link this to Cork just to avoid duplication in work -

Thanks

Tara

Hi there,

If you scroll down this link, there is mention here of what looks like a possible sister of your Mary (or another relation)

9 years later ;)
Paul Cudmore (1737 - 1806) was my 6th great grandfather. I am slowly adding Cudmores to Wikitree

Many thanks - I think Paul is my 10th great grandfather (born c 1614): https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Cudmore-360 Every little smidgeon helps to build the family history :)

Not sure how Richard is related
