What are the Parishes in Dublin North. I have found a reference that may be a relative I have been looking for, for ages. He was RC.
Also where do I send of for a birth certificate and how much are they. Can I order online?
I don't suppose this reference can be looked up anywhere apart from getting the certificate.

Can't help you on the parishes of Dublin, but surely someone reading your post will be able to.
Regarding the birth cert, you can download the official form from the National Archives site in Dublin, or just write in with what info you have. The cost is 7 euros (about $4.40) for the full cert and they usually take about 5/6 weeks. The address is:
The General Register Office
Joyce House,
8/11 Lombard Street East
Dublin 2

I meant £4.40 sterling of course, not dollars!

Try a website called Ireland Reaching Out. They have volunteers from parishes who help with information.
