Post by: doublegreen on Wednesday 15 August 12 16:46 BST (UK)
can anyone help in tying up some loose ends I have?
One of my ancestors William Cork was born St Nicholas  Harwich 1733 married 1755 an 1759 in Ipswich and died in Ipswich 1791. father and mothers names William and Mary
searching for the details of his parents the only connection seems to be a
marriage in Colchester St Leonards Colchester in 1710 of William born 1791 who died 1746  to a Mary Cutler

Hi

Just checked the parish records for St Nicholas

25 May 1733, William Cork son of James (it looks more James than William) & Mary

thanks kmart for your reply. Obviously, I misread the entry in the Harwich register  with it being near the bottom of the page and could not decipher the actual date of christening.

Will start my searches again.
