Hi Helen I can look up Milton as well but the parish records for all of Gravesend, Northfleet including Milton are available on line just google cityark which is medway archives they have scanned all the records for this area.
If you can't find what you are looking for let me know and I will look for you.
regards
Jill

Hi Jill
Yes I find the Medway site very good generally, but just in this one instance the records are not online. I cannot find the marriage in the other Gravesend/Milton churches so I hope it is in Milton St Peter and St Paul but despite their claims to go up to 1938 it only goes up to 1889 for marriages and 1868 for burials.
I am looking for a re-marriage for Emma Mary Dawbin Smith to Thomas Haysom, FreeBMD tells me that it probably occurs in Jun 1907 and that her first husband John Smith probably died in Mar 1906. I would like to confirm it if possible and as Emma baptised her only child in St Peter and St Paul and seems to have lived all her life in Milton, I am hoping that her second marriage will be there.
Many thanks
Helen

Hi - please can you check for my
Mary Ann BRYAN bc1860 'Gravesend' (shown as 'niece' on 1881 census visiting my g/grandad in Lambeth.

Mary Ann BRYAN's parents were Michael & Ellen BRYAN. (both b Cork 1830-4)
(unable to get the right b/cert!)

Ideally you MAY find her baptism (RC) and possibly mention of parents -and maybe a Michael Jnr b Chatham.

Sorry to be so vague!  Any sort of check-up would be greatly appreciated.

Hi
My grandparents, great grandparents and many other relations come from Gravesend and Northfleet.  Last name being Skews.  I would be very appreciative if you could help me with looking up some information about them!
Best regards, Barbara
