Hi Ireland
Searching for ancestors John Dwyer born 1839 Ireland died 1887 South Australia and wife Mary O'Donnel born 1838 died 1926 South Australia. Birth year dates may not be correct, but around these years. They came to South Australia in 1866 with three children James 8, John 5, Margaret infant. Left from Plymouth, UK on ship Atalanta. Have found Margaret birth or bapt 4 June 1865. Baptism, Christening Place : 837, Mitchelstown, Cork. Ire. in Family Search. I would like any details on John and Mary. Birth dates and where etc. Marriage date and where etc. Also if can go back to John and Mary's parents, siblings etc.
Would be most grateful for any help.
Thank you from South Australia.

The record you mentioned for Margaret looks like an extracted Civil birth record. The number relates to the page in the civil register which you can use to locate to full BMD Index reference need to order a cert. The locations on extracted records are often the district - a research cert may give a more detailed address e.g. name of the street or townland, it would also show father's occupation.
Full civil registration started in Ireland in 1864, so if the family were RC then you would need to look for the marriage in parish records.
Australian death certs for John and Mary might help with details of their parents names.
Transcripts of records for Mitchelstown RC parish seem to be included on the pay-website at RootsIreland
