I need a fresh pair of eyes to find the above person.
Claude Reynolds was born 1886 in St Kilda. He supposedly married a Williemine (Minnie) Sutor Innis.....where and when I don't know.
Don't know where Minnie was born.
Minnie according to the inscription on the Headstone (Burwood Cemetery). died 1949 age 49 years. The Victorian Index (reg no #10858) says 1940 age 53 years.
They had three children - Edna, Oscar & Richard (names from headstone).
I have managed to find marriages and deaths for Edna & Oscar, but not where they were born.
Have found Claude & Minnie on the Electoral Rolls from 1924 - 1937 - I have Claude on later ones...so I know what he got up to.. ;D
If some kind person could find where they were before 1924, and a marriage and births of their children....I would appreciate it..
I may just have purchase Minnie's death record or Claude's...but funds are getting low. :o

The 2006 Probate you found is prob the 1918 Birth you found.
-
Richard Munro Reynolds doesn't seem to have married - appears on Electoral Rolls as the only Reynolds at that address as a machinist.
I think Sarra has access to Electoral Rolls ...? (else I could type up more details).
His death date is 13 Sep 2006.

Birth Reg;

Claud Alfred Thos REYNOLDS
Birth Place St Kilda Victoria
Parents, Alfred Reynolds and Eleanor Eml Hall
So looks like 1942 Electrol Roll you posted Ros is them.
Dorothy a Sister maybe.
-
Yes Trish I found his death record in 1965 and realised that they must have been his parents afterwards.
I thought Sarra probably had it but death :
Claude Alfred Thomas Reynolds 1965 Bright vic, father Alfred and mother Ellinor Emily Hall reg# 10738 age 79 years.
I was thinking Dorothy may be another daughter. She is still on electoral rolls in 1980 and has the distinctive spelling of Ellinor in her name.
cheers,
Ros
adding : silly me - the spelling of her name could mean a sister :-[
-
Yes you are likely right Ros. Sarra probably has that info.

Hi All,
Well I'm amazed at all this information you people have all found, while I was offline.
It will take me a few hours to put it all together.
Now why did I not look in WA for him. ???
Actually I think I did but I did not find him.?
I may have a few more questions for you all....so back later.

Ros - Wivenhoe - Trish - Dee,
Thanks to you 'Chatters' I now have all the information for Claude A T Reynolds, and his family....much more than I anticipated.
You all work so well together here.
It's possible that Richard Munro Reynolds was married to a Jessie Gillies (she died 1975). I say this because I found her and Richard on the 1968 & 1972 E/R at 'Cranley Park' Terry Avenue, Ferntree Gully.
Surprisingly Claude Alfred T Reynolds lived in Ferntree Gully with his 2nd wife in1958....she died in 1961. He buried her in the Ferntree Gully Cemetery. Claude died in 1965 ad is buried with his 1st wife in the Burwood Cemetery.
As you guessed Dorothy was Claude's unmarried sister, she died in 1989 and is buried in the Box Hill Cemetery..
My connection is through Claude's 2nd wife, and that's a long story.
So Dee I can't claim an Ancestor who had a Humpmoble.....lovely car though.
Trish - Thanks for doing all that searching for Williamina's family history.
Very many thanks to you all....sorry this is late had a problem with my Keyboard...all sorted now.

I would love to see the photo that you have of Claude and family. Also compare research information you may have for the Reynolds/Innes lines.
You may not want to post the photo on the board, so if you like to make a few more posts (three are required before you can use the PM), then you will be able to make contact by a PM.

I have more info on the innes side which i will be happy to share. The reynolds side amounts to two very old photos and one dating from1973 when oscar reynolds visited scotland. As i am a complete beginner just finding my way around this site is hard enough at the moment

I'm happy to share what I have on the 'Reynolds' line, I did do some research on the 'Innes' side of things too - so it will be interesting to compare notes.
I'm sure you will eventually get the hang of Rootschat, and it will be a great help.
One more post and I will send you a PM, with my email address.
