Title: john stewart jamieson, Brechin
Post by: sue1959 on Saturday 11 August 12 15:06 BST (UK)
Hi I wonder if there is anyone who could help me gather a bit of info on John Stewart. He was born in Monasterevin, Kildare in 1897 and moved to Angus in 1919 after failing to enter the RIC. His family moved to America with out him. I've found arecord of John Stewart death in 1982 aged 85. I would be ever in someones debt ( well a pint maybe) if they could get me details from his gravestone. He was Church of Ireland so could be buried in C of S grave yard.

In anticipation
Sue

Have you bought a copy of the death cert to confirm it's the right person?  The 1901 for Angus has another entry for that name with an 1897 birthyear

If it is the right entry - the actual date and place of death would be needed to find a burial
