Can anyone please let me know how I can view/request details on the 1841 census?
Thanks,

As far as I am aware there is no online access to the 1841 census at present.
There are CDs of the 1841 available for some parts of the country eg London. If you look at sites such as S&N or Stepping Stones you will find their latest coverage. Some Family History Societies have also produced transcripts of the 1841.
So, I would suggest you ask for a look up on the appropriate County board. Give as much information as you can - names , ages, occupations. I believe there are very few surname indexes for the 1841 census so a location to search or address will be necessary. If you are looking in London an address is essential.
Hope this helps.

Many FHS have indexed the 1841 & 51 it's worth posting as Barbara says in the appropriate county.
