I would be grateful if someone visiting Trangie General Cemetery can help me with this problem:
On the Austcemindex there is the following:
Herridge Harry 21 Aug 1958 61y née Ryan; w/Percy R
(the headstone doesn't have that information)
Harry Blake HERRIDGE was the Brother in law of Pauline Mary RYAN
The headstone for Pauline Mary Ryan doesn't have "née Ryan; w/Percy R" on it.
I am still researching the Herridge family of Gin Gin, Trangie and trying to find Pauline's ancestors.
Query: is there another headstone nearby with the "née Ryan; w/Percy R" on it?
(Where did the info on Austcemindex come from?)

Hi
Photos of both graves at this link http://austcemindex.com/inscriptions.php
I think that the nee Ryan wife of Percy may come from notes in the burial book.

I haven't looked up the auscemindex for Harry's brother Percy Herridge but from the index and the deaths they could be buried together.
From NSW BDM Percy married Pauline M Ryan. This may have been mistranscribed as they are both in same grave?

Hi
The Headstone for Pauline Mary clearly had space left for an inscription for Percy Reginald to be added after his death. It appears no-one in the family bothered to have the inscription done.
Most likely the person who formatted the auscemindex web page made the error by having née Ryan; w/Percy R alongside the name of Harry whose headstone did not allow for another inscription for anybody else.
