Title: finding the link between morrisons

Trying to prove or disprove a family rumour. My gr, gr, grandmother was Clarissa Morrison born about 1854/5 around the ken sington area. Rumour has it that there is a connection there to Lord Herbert Morrison MP but I am yet to find it, any help or info would be gratefully received

According to the 1861 census her father was William b 1827 Kensington - occ stone mason

Who was the father of Lord Herbert Morrison who was b 1888 Lambeth?  The only info I can find via Google is that he was a policeman

Just found his baptism - he was Herbert Stanley Morrison - parents Henry and Priscilla Caroline

1901 shows Henry was born 1849 Marylebone. He  married Priscilla Caroline Lyon in 1872 and his father was William occ Custom House Officer (deceased)

So Henry's father and Clarissa's father could not have been brothers as that would have meant 2 sons both called William

If there is any link - you will need to do a lot of research to prove it as it may not be a direct one
