i am looking for any information about a william james shaddick born1883 in plymouth uk and died in 1911 also in plymouth he was in the first world war and he served on the ship H.M.S Mentor if anyone has any info or photos he wasa my gt gd uncle

Hi in 1891 he appears to be the nephew aged 7 b Plymouth with Charles Rumney 37 b Bristol and wife Emma 34 b Plymouth

If William James Shaddick died 1911 then he would not have served in WW1 as it didn't start until 1914???

I have William James Shaddick belonging to a tree which i construct back to a William Shaddick born Plympton 1832, married Elizabeth Ann penny 1858. children
inc William b abt 1864, m Alice Saunders abt 1883. 8 children
