Title: Irish Street School, Whitehaven
Post by: Jackie M on Saturday 04 August 12 21:31 BST (UK)
Hello

It's a bit of a long shot I know, but I wondered if anyone has any idea how I may be able to find a picture of the old Irish Street School in Whitehaven.  I am making a 'this is your life' type book for my Dads 70th birthday and as he used to go to the school I thought it would be great to show him one of the old pictures.  I have tried the usual searches but can't find anything.  It was knocked down quite a while ago but I would have thought there should be plenty of photos.  Any ideas would be more than welcome!!

Many thanks
Jackie
