Title: Colour Please Grandad who fought in both Wars
Post by: SolomanR on Saturday 04 August 12 08:14 BST (UK)
Hello everyone. I know this is small...its from a relative. I know its a bit dull as a picture but tomorrow I will visit my Aunt. She has never seen a picture of her dad as a young man. I would like to get this coloured and framed to take with me. My grandad came from a very poor family and was brought up in some of the roughest parts of London. He joined the artillery in the Great War during which he married my grandmother. They fought as many battles as he fought at the front and in 1939, as soon as war was declared he couldn't wait to join up to have a break from Flo and the 11 kids. If you can do anything I will be grateful...Sol

A bit difficult in view of the size of the original, but here's my try.

Regards
