Hello... :)
I found the family on the 1901 Census of England:
Copyright information removed
If you contact GRO England..you will be able to order his birth cert online I believe - I believe that this is his birth registration on Ancestry. Frank Lampard registered in the Oct-Dec qtr of 1899. Registration District is Bristol and Inferred County is Gloucestershire. Volume 6a and page 146.
Hope this helps ya in some way,
Annie :)

from freebmd again. Looked for John Lampard marriage to Alice (no surname) between years 1886 to 1890
Dec 1888, Yeovil 5c 821
John Rose Lampard
Alicee Emma Cooper
So if you look in freebmd births years 1864 to 1867 for John Lampard you should find his birth, if it was registered.
Or you can use ancestry.co.uk or findmypast for the censuses and look for him and his family there.

I'm not sure what you are refering to when you say you have a small brown piece of paper.. is it what is left of his original birth certificate? and you would like a 'new copy' or can you still read the original? or any refering to something completely different?

Ohhh wow... Thank you all so very much...so much info.. have been wondering how to go about finding this info.. as i was born and bred in South Wales..My dad died aged 57 in 1980 he was only child ,never got round to asking him about his family, my mother always said she had no info not even pictures. she is 91 with dementia and it was while clearing her house out that i found my grandfather bit of brown paper.. i will try and post a pic of it as soon as i can....ive tried looking on sites, but must be the wrong ones as ive not got anywhere....
-
I suspect your brown bit of paper is what is known as a 'short' birth certificate....I have one for my grandfather, its a bit bigger than a postcard and not much thicker than tissue paper.
-
Is Your certificate like the 5th example on page
http://anguline.co.uk/cert/birth.html ?
If so it is a "short" birth certificate
It would be possible ( as others have mentioned) to obtain a full certificate (with more information on it) from the GRO.

New to Rootschat, and wish I had been here before !!
I am searching for Solomon Macaire's birth date to hopefully find his parentage, all I know about him is : He married Jeanne Boitel on 6th Sept 1761 ( She came from Ronssoy in the Dept Somme. France)- He was a silk Weaver - they lived in St Johns Street Bethnal Green - he employed apprentices - Jeanne died after the birth of their seventh child in 1771 - he three years later married Susanne Betembo - she died in the French Hospital in 1809 - no sign of Solomon - we know he was still alive in 1787 because he witnessed his son's wedding.
We cannot find anymore, and would love to know where he came from Help anybody please
-
Hello John 1935 and a very warm welcome to Rootschat. ;D.
In order for you to both ask for the help you need and for RC researchers to respond, each new subject is started with a new 'post', and now you would need to start your own post looking for details for Solomon Macaire in order to achieve the best results for you. I
If you provide as much information as you can (which you have already) and 'post' under 'beginners' 'start a new topic' I'm sure you will soon have the help you are looking for.
The post 'Am new and looking' was started by welshladyjay as she is looking for details for her particular family, and as I said may not yield results for you.
Good luck ;)

Will do - Merci mon Capitaine
