Hi Again,
Please can anyone do anything at all with this very badly deteriorated photo even if it only a partial as some of the faces are totally gone. Anything anyone can do would be a great help. Thanking you in advance.
Toni
p.s. I did send it in before.

Hi Toni - I gave it a shot -the little one sitting on Dads knee I couldn't do anything with but no doubt those with perhaps photoshop or some better program may be able to do so
Cheers Maureen

Hi Maureen,
Thank you so much! This will certainly help me. It is such a shame the photo was not taken care of. It was taken about 1879 in Dublin, travelled to Winnipeg, Canada in 1912, travelled to Toronto and then back to me.
I truly thank you for doing this.

Right off the bat, in your restored picture, I noticed the child on the right had long pants o, which I did not pick up on my original. This gives me a clue as to the child being a boy.
Thanks again.
Toni.

and I gave him a bonnet :-[
Thought it was a better option than a blob for a face - maybe I was wrong ;D
Wish I could have done better with it for you but glad it was OK
Cheers

Wow.
What a great response.
Thanks to everyone.
Maureen you did great and it did not matter about the bonnet as there is no face!
Yvonne your restoration is very impressive. It looks very original and my photo is in such a bad state.
Greensleeves thank you for your picture too. It gives another view for me to work with. I think the young man behind the lady may be her brother.
Thanks to all of you for taking the time and the care to make something of my very deteriorated photograph. :-* I am very appreciative.
Now I have to figure out how to download to my computer.

To download just 'right click' on the image & 'save to' your folder,

I'm not sure the sitting child's face was clear in the original picture. It seems as though he moved as you can see a face in the lapel of the father's coat. Nice edits.

Wow that is amazing!!! I do see the face on my gr grandfather's lapel. I went back to my original and blew it up and I see two eyes, a nose and a very unhappy mouth. 8)
Thanks you so much.
