how do i go about finding what cemetery a funeral was held at for someone as im interested in adding to family members in my tree where the funeral was taken place, if they were buried or cremated and if there is a grave stone trying to locate it.
also how do i go about finding out if anything about the death or funeral was posted in a newspaper? and can you views these online from home? i know you can with the australian paper the argus as i found that on the internet from home

pretty much everything from 1930's backwards and i think they were mainly church of england
there are a few particular people i am interested in though to start me off

During the late 1900's most graveyards were closed due to overcrowding particularly in built up areas.
After that most people were buried in Civic Cemeteries.
In most cases you would need the death cert. in order to find out where they were living & then contact the local Cemetery who would have a list of burials.
There are back isssues of most local papers held at local archives.
