Hi All
I have recently been given a copy of the attached photo (taken in my 3x Great Grandfather's back garden). It shows a large group of ladies busily sewing!
I am hoping that someone will be able to point me in the right direction with regards to the date of the photo? It isn't going to be easy to identify people but a date will help as it will narrow down the generations for me.
Thanks in advance!

What a fascinating photo. So unusual.
I suggest around 1908-1912ish, because of the hats. Can't see necklines or hemlines, but we can see plenty of hats :D
Cheers,
China

Thanks China - that's a great help!
It is a fascinating photo - taken from a reasonable height (probably from the family business premises adjacent to the house).

frustratingly few clues for a precise date!
im far from an expert but I would like to suggest it is before 1910 as there is no particularly large headwear, which became popular around this period.
also the two black hats on the ladies to the middle right look like some I have seen from the very late 19th century.
