Title: Patrick Byrne in Dublin

I found Patrick's info, he was named Bartholomew Byrne and now I am looking for info on his mother: Kate (Katherine?) Byrne. His immigration papers list her as living at 33 Clarence Pl. Dublin Ireland in 1915. Any info out there or suggestions as to where I might look? Thanks again for all your help.

In your message on  4th July 2004  (http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,6189.msg17657.html#msg17657) we learn Patrick (named Bartholomew) was born on 2nd April 1897 which tells us his mother Kate was probably born in the 1870s. In 1915 if my theory is correct she would have been in her 40s. The only surname we have is her married name. I'm wondering why he gave his mother's name and address on his immigration papers rather than his father's name.
