Hi
Wondering if anyone can help with a husband & wife buried at Hamilton East cemetery please.
Norman Clarence Best RILEY died 23 Feb 1951 and his wife Eileen Eva Gladys RILEY nee Hall died 19 Nov 1956.
They appear to be buried alongside each other A A 90 & 91.
1. I would like to know if there is a headstone and whether there is any mention of any children?
2. Is it possible for anyone to look up a Death Notice in the local paper please?
I'd be very grateful for any help! ;D
Tks

You are most welcome Dale.
I sent Dale a PM with an email address for headstone photos of Hamilton East Cemetery. All you require are the plot numbers which can be found on the Hamilton Cemetery Database. If anyone else requires the address just let me know.
Thanks Christine

Hi Dale,
If you can wait until Friday this next week, I can probably do a newspaper look-up for you, providing the notice was in The New Zealand Herald, which was likely I would think.

Morning Dale,
I live in Hamilton, so when I get the chance will pop over and see what I can find.

Thank you for the thought Amanda - much appreciated! The Council replied this am with a photo of one of the graves but the 2nd doesn't have a headstone unfortunately!
It's wonderful to know there are so many folk prepared to help!
Thanks again

Hi Dale,
I have PM'd transcriptions of the two RILEY newspaper death notices.
Hope you can now go forward a little further with your research.
Good luck,
Minniehaha. :)
