Title: Samuel & Mary Ann Ford
Post by: jim charman on Wednesday 30 June 04 17:00 BST (UK)
Looking for offspring of Samuel And Mary who moved to Burton-on-Trent  late 1800's or early 1900's. Vague family records therefore any snippet would be big help

Hi Jim,

This is not a request for a lookup on a specified resource,  so I am going to move it to the Common Room,  or it will get lost in the enormous amount of lookup requests we have at present.   ;D

Can you tell us what you know about this couple,  it will help in the search,

Kazza.

Hi
The only info we have at this time is that Samuel Ford married Mary Ann Wyatt in March 1882 in Boswell Suffolk
They moved to Burton-on -Trent, we think between the dates mentioned, but can find no trace of them in Burton. We would like to find out what off spring there was from this marriage but, again, have had no luck.

Incidentally this is on behalf of my brother-in-law who lives in Australia. He has tried to register with Roots Chat but for some reason they will not accept his password. Can you help ?

Right,  getting back to your question.   :)

First you need to find them in 1891,  try Suffolk first,  post a request in the Lookup Requests board,  giving all available information.  If you are sucessful,  you may find some children.

Hi Jim there are a few Ford's from Burton on freebmd. I entered "births" &  "Burton" between 1882 and 1902 and there are a few.

I live in Perth WA and the Mormons libraries are of great help with records.

Regards
Shirley
