Hi all,
I'm currently looking into a friend's family history and have found an Irish family (Mulcrone from Co. Mayo) living in Newport in the mid- to late 19th century. In 1881 they lived in Bellmans Yard off the High Street, which I've found on a current map, but by 1991 had moved to 'Watkins Yard' on St. Mary's Street which I can't find - does anyone know where this was/is, as we may be popping over at some point, so I'd love to point in the right direction rather than more generally at the street? And bit of a long short I know, but does anyone have any photos of either?
