Title: Children in care
Post by: A-lady on Thursday 19 July 12 13:34 BST (UK)

Hello,

I hope someone can help me,

Is there any chance of finding information on a child that was taken in to care by the N.S.P.C.C in 1942 in the northumberland area.

There is every chance of finding information, but due to data protection ,you will have to be a direct descendant or that person, and be able too verify it.
but only through the caring agency the child was placed with,
try contacting the NSPCC first, they will be helpfull,do you know if the person went into a children's home,

Hello Radcliff,

Yes she did go into a home and she was taken by the nspcc, but wasn't sure how long they keep there records for, without giving to much information away she is related but not to me.
