Title: 1950's Army National Service Badge
Post by: ThomasJames1918 on Wednesday 18 July 12 20:41 BST (UK)
Here is a photo of a badge that belonged to my Grandfather when he did his national service in the early to mid 1950’s. And I was wondering if someone could help me by identifying the Regiment and what type it would have been.

Looks like REME (Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers).

Agree with philipsearching, but it is in fact a tunic button not a badge.

Hi

Thanks for the help. I found out he was in the 3rd Battalion in the 50’s and I was wondering if someone could help me and tell me where they would have served and went too.
