Hi
Trying to find Mary Chippendale after 1901, she appears on the 1901 census with her parents, my GGrandparents and siblings living at 108 Lily Lane, Ince in Makerfield:-
William H Chippendale 45
Mary Chippendale 42
John Chippendale 19
William Chippendale 21
Mary Chippendale 14
Catherine Chippendale 11
Thomas Chippendale 2
I have all the info on everyone else but cannot find a death or a marriage for Mary, appreciate any help with this one.
Thanks
Chris

I think you will find that Mary is still living in1911.
Information removed as per our rules for the 1911 census

I assumed you had the baptism ,but it is better for others if you do post what you already have ,even if its brief ,its a starting point, for other people ,

Have a look at the latest census for Eli FORSHAW b 1881 and his wife MAry

Thanks Elzabels, yes I do have the 1911 census and noticed that mother Mary states widow but she isn't her husband is living at the Ince Hall Hotel as a servant. I also noticed she states she still has 5 children living but I cannot find any trace of Mary b1887. I have all the other info on her siblings.

Hi Ratcliff,
well done that certainly looks like her, when I checked the marriage on BMD 1910 of Eli Forshaw it says that spouse not found, do you know why that would be.
Just looked on Lanc's BMD and it gives his spouse as Polly Chippendale, I do know that some people with the name Mary were know as Polly so thanks so much for finding this I have been looking for her for ages.

It was the POLLY as I had an Aunt who was really Mary that drew me to it!
Most probably a non conformist wedding Methodist?
additional children you require
Thomas 1885 - 1885
Emma Jane 1891 - 1894
Emma Jane 1895 - 1899

Sorry Elzabels it was you not Ratcliff who found her with Eli but thanks to you both you have solved a long standing brick wall.
