I have an ancestor named Robert Brennan and his marriage states that he was in the Armagh militia. Are there any records of them? Can I learn what he did in the militia,how long he was in and if,where and when he fought? Their daughter was born in 1873 in Co. Armagh.

I wonder why the only Robert Brennan I've been able to find on your links and elsewhere was in the Militia in 1797,way before mine was born? Am I looking in the wrong places? Your 2nd link is great bty it has a lot to sift through,ty.
