Title: Soldier and Wife -Photograph for restoration 1of 3
Post by: jadasm on Saturday 14 July 12 13:47 BST (UK)
I have been sent 3 photographs, all of which are about 100 years old and need some restotoration please. The first is it is believed taken on their wedding day, shortly before the man went to France in 1915. The picture is very faded. If possible a black and white photograph and if someone wants to have a go and produce a colour photograph as well, would be grateful. I have no idea as to hair colour or clothes colours.Any idea what he man is holding? Many thanks in anticipation.

Edited to add photograph!

Looks like a cigarette in a holder that he is holding

Thanks James. I did wonder if it was a cigarette in a holder but thought that it was too long.
