I've traced one branch of my family back to Alexander Grant, born 1816. He was married to Agnes Archibald. I would love to get a marriage record for them. Any help would be appreciated.

Having checked the FamilySearch site, the marriage took place in 1838 in Muirkirk.

ScotlandsPeople will have the image of the OPR record of marriage.  While it is pay per view, it is fairly reasonable.
