Searching for any information on Agnes Fairweather - possibly one of five sisters.  From Bathgate and went on to marry William Drinnan.

There is only 1 marriage showing between William Drinnan and Agnes Fairweather. It is in 1940 in Whitburn West Lothian. You cannot view it on SP as it is outwith the closure period, but you could order the certificate on line.

Regards
Jean

Fantastic assistance, thank you.  Now that there are dates of birth for both Agnes and William, does anyone know names of parents?

The best way to get the parents' names is to get a copy of the marriage certificate.

As it is less than 75 years ago, you can't download the certificate from Scotland's People, but as Jean says you can order a copy though the SP web site.

Alternatively you can ask if someone who is going to the SP Centre in Edinburgh or Glasgow would be willing to transcribe the certificate for you.

Agnes was the daughter of George Fairweather and Sarah Easton, who married 1907 in Blackridge.

Agnes' death entry confirms her mother's name. SP also shows Isabella d. 1997, Mary d. 2002 and Sarah d. 1979 as siblings.
