Looking for the parents of Margaret Carr of Blyth born 1806. She married a George Dunn and was living in Durham in 1841 with a son William who was my g-g-grandfather. Anyone able to help?

It is a duplicate post but I was told she was born in Northumberland and thought this the best place to post. The Durham requests didn't bring up the parents. Sorry if I got it wrong.

Blyth in 1806 did not exist as a parish. Part of it was in Horton parish and the rest in Earsdon parish. These are both covered in family search Durham Bishop's transcripts.
On the other hand there is also North Blyth (across the river) which is part of Bedlington. I don't think Bedlington is included in the BTs.

Don't worry. Duplicate posts cause confusion and can be detrimental to your search as people get annoyed if they do research and then find it has already been done. It is always best to give the link to previous threads to avoid that. Another way is to ask for the post to be moved to a different board. Most of the northern researchers look at both boards so you may be lucky and get the information you need wherever you post.
