There is this marriage
FLATTLEY, Florence
Newcastle under Lyme Staffordshire
1918 March quarter
6B 122
Spouse Henry Marshell
-
what does the baptism give as her parent(s) and where was the baptism?
-
Also if you look at the marriage on Staffsbmd (Newcastle, Methodist Church ( Ebenezer)) it gives an *Alternative* surname of Ellerton for Florence.
Pauline
-
Not her then as she was the wife of James Flattley, obviously a second marriage.
-
i just have 22nd nov 1895 from ancestry christening record

Father William Flatley mother Ellen.
-
yes thats correct
-
Wonder if this is them in 1901 Piece: 2765 Folio: 41 Page: 15 Kidderminster
FLATLEY, William Head Married M 39 Boatman On Canal Kidderster, Worcestershire
FLATLEY, Ellen Wife Married F 39 Kidderster, Worcestershire
FLATLEY, Samuel Son Single M 15 Foundry Worker (Iron) Kidderster, Worcestershire
FLATLEY, William Son Single M 11 Moxley, Shropshire
FLATLEY, Nellie Daughter Single F 9 Moxley, Shropshire
FLATLEY, Elsie Daughter Single F 1 Moxley, Shropshire
MAYALL, Mary Boarder Widow F 68 Swing Woman Kidderster, Worcestershire
If so it looks as if Florence may have died, there is a big gap between Nellie and Elsie

i havethe info about family,i was wondering if she had died but not found her
-
Is that her family?
Checked deaths from 1895 to 1901 and I cant see her either.
-

-
yes it is florence family,i havent found anything for her
how do you *know* the baptism is that particular william & ellen?
The ancestry record gives neither address nor father's occupation.
She's not even born until 2 days after she is baptised according to Ancestry (!)
Pauline

You really need to see the actual baptism record to see if that gives any further information.
-
The family aren't that good at registration - can't see the older 1901 children, and Nellie (if registered as Ellen) and Elsie are registered in Wolverhampton
Familysearch has her birth as 22 Oct 1895 and baptism on 20 November
-
Perhaps if they were boatmen moving around they didn't bother with registrations.
-
i take on board your comments id say that has been wrongly transcribed also i dont think there are many florence flatley in the same area its possible its her marriage.
-
It's more probable that the 1918 marriage is NOT the Florence b1895.
Pauline
-
I agree with Pauline, that isn't the marriage. That Florence Flattley was the widow of James Flattley. If you use the free index for the 1911 census you can find her as his wife. Also in the household are Ellertons.
James M Flattley died March quarter 1913 Newcastle under Lyme.

? dont think she can be traced in marriage or death
