I am afraid I have no further information of either Thomas PARKER or Lucy COLCHIN other than
(i) they married 17 Feb, 1763, in Wivelsfield, Sussex,
(ii) and had a daughter, Lucy.
Lucy was born 1768, in Wivelsfield. She married a William LEWRY.
However, it is information on Thomas PARKER and Lucy COLCHIN I seek...
Any offerings would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Hi
There is a baptism of a Lucy Colchin at St Peter Chailey
9 January 1735/36
Father: Richard Colchin
Mother: Joanna Colchin
Thomas Parker is a more common name and there are lots of them but there is this one in Wivelsfield
St John the Baptist
Thomas Parker 8 Apr 1726
Father: William Parker
Mother: Mary Paker
Hope this may help

This could well be the marriage of Lucy's parents (if the baptism is the correct one)
1 May 1724 Chailey
Richard Colchin and Joanna Kempton
IF the Thomas Parker baptism is correct this could be a strong possiblity for the marriage of his parents.
10 Aug 1718 Plumpton
William Parker and Mary Gorsden

According to a book I have on Wivelsfield the name Calchin/Colchin only appears twice in the registers. Once is for the marriage you mention and the other is much earlier. Nothing in between which makes the Chailey entry more of a possibility.
