Hi All,
Hoping someone maybe able to look up a death in the years 1900- 1928 for James Thomas / Thomas James Williams. He was born in1874 in Victoria son of Joseph Sloburn Williams and Harriet Barnett. He married in1896 to Lily Amelia Mc Nally and they had 3 children in Victoria.I have recently found Lily Amelia Williams remarrying in 1929 in Victoria.Stating a widow 16 Dec 1902.
On Trove there is a notice in the Launceston Examiner 22 May1920 asking him to come home ? He is a bit of a mystery so any help would greatly appreciated
with thanks Kerri

Thomas and Lily are at Rutherglen on the 1903 electoral roll, Thomas is a miner. By 1909 the rest of the family is still there but Thomas and Lily aren't.

Thanks everyone,
Only A guess but thought he may have been mining in Tassie re Add.On his marriage cert at his occupation was a carter. Also a bankruptcy at Rutherglen.
(On Trove)
I also wondered if the date was wrong at the 2nd marriage hence the time frame for the look up.I havent found Lily's death, (which would help) her married name was Adams. Her second Husband was William Edward Adams and he is buried with his 2nd wife at fawkner. (DEc 1938) Have his death cert.
