Hi can anyone tell me if the primary school or parish priest would hold the confirmation records. I've found my mams aunt she was born in 1913/14 and I know she went to the local primary school but there is no record of her after school. My thinks she got sick around her confrimation and died but i cant find any death record in her local church.

What area are you talking about here?. The local parish records should have details of who was confirmed and when. Try contacting the local Parish Priest or Parish Office. Sometimes the school itself would have records of who was confirmed. I know for instance that I have seen my own confirmation details in the records of my old school.
School roll books are another underused resource. Most schools still hold their roll books eventhough they were supposed to have been returned to Dept of Education and from there to the National Archives years ago. I have had terrific success with school roll books, some of which can date back to the 1850s and 1860s. Information recorded is usually DOB, address, father, father's occupation, when started and finish school, movements from one school to another and even in one case for me "gone to America" which opened up a whole new frontier of research for me.
Check the National Archives site under school roll books and see if your school is listed there. The list shown is not always up to date though and an email enquiry of personal call will tell you what schools are available. I found the staff to be very helpful in this regard.
The 1926 census is also due for release soon but at the snail's pace with which red tape operates it may still be some time yet. It is supposed to happen within the lifetime of this government but my guess is that it will be released in time for the centeniary of the 1916 Rebellion. That will be of interest to you when it comes.
