Im trying to help a friend find a little about his family and it would help me greatly if anyone can tell me if the family can be found on the 1871 and 1881 Census's (a note of family members and ages /occupations would be nice but of course Iv read there is copyright to be mindful of.
The family is Brewster living Depwade on the Norfolk/Suffolk boundary in UK.
In 1881 census there would be a child of 8/9 named Walter James b 1872 and this is all I have ..
1871 may give me more of who else was in the family earlier etc
Thank you ;-)

1901 census:

The 1911 census is the one with all the copyright stuff!

Brilliant stuff ;D I think this certainly confirms hes my man. Not only being a carpenter but also because my friend knew Walter was abt 49 when he wed. Finding where he was for the prior yrs makes sense :-*
Thank you so much. I dont know what we would do without the kindness of people like yourself. God Bless.
Ps While Im exceedingly grateful for the help already given and feel a mite cheeky, can I ask if there is any chance you or another has the 1941 census with Walter senior on it born 1839 tibenhan Norfolk?? I believe his father is Henry Brewster born 1811 and its him and his wife that interests me, but have no access to census's. Forgive me for asking....but my mother always said if you dont ask ..you dont get ;) Many Thanks...

From 1841 census:
Reference HO107, Piece 757, Book/Folio 20/4, Page 3
Tibenham, Norfolk
Brewster, Henry M 30 Farmer
Brewster, Mary F 25
Brewster, Walter M 4 all born in county.
Don't forget the following, re 1841 census:
1. Ages of adults were (supposed!) to be rounded down to a multiple of 5 years (So Henry could have been as old as 34?!)
2. No relationships (to Head of Household) were mentioned.
3. No place of birth was noted. Just born in county (yes or no), or Scottish, Irish or Foreign.
In 1851, Walter is a scholar at school in Bracondale, Norwich (HO107, 1814, 334, 7).
