Hi, My son-in-law's great grandfather is Andrew Dowds who is married to Mary McConnell. I'm searching for info on Andrew and Mary's children, are you able to help with this.

I think I'm on the wrong track, Andrew Dowds born around 1901/02, I now believe his mother was Miriam Cargo and his father William Dowds born in Belfast or around there.
Miriam had a son prior to marrying William, named Tom Hall who died in WW2, a half brother to Andrew. She then had William, Hugh, Andrew and Samuel, maybe not in that order.
Where do I go to search for marriage and deaths certificates or war records as William Jnr was in the Royal Marines and joined at 17 in 1942 by putting his age up. Andrew was a Ulster rifleman.
Can anyone assist with information please.

Also Andrew Dowds spent time in Mountjoy Prison around 1920/1921

Andrew's mother was Mary Mullan. Here's his birth in 1901.

Solve the Captcha by ticking the box, and use initials such as ‘b’, ‘b’ to sign in. Ensure that you tick the ‘application to search’ box.
For 1922 and later you need to check GRONI's database, but births less than 100 years old, marriages 75 years and deaths 50 years will not be available online there.

Our Andrews father was William and mother Miriam (Mariam) Cargo. They had children Andrew, William, Hugh and Samuel, maybe not in that order. Although I have found Miriam's first marriage to Thomas Hall in 1915 and subsequently their children Thomas born in 1915 and an unnamed daughter in 1918, I can't find anything else for Miriam or William or their children. Neither Marriage or birth certificates. I've gone through lots on Groni but to no avail. Thank you for your help so far,
