Title: Pierpoint Holland
Post by: helen_w on Sunday 01 July 12 09:15 BST (UK)
When I first started on my family tree I found a reference to a family tree for Pierpoint Holland of Manchester and Beswick. I ignored it because I didn't think it was anything to do with me. Guess what? I was wrong. I now know that John Holland (1806) married Mary Anne Pierrepoint (1811) in Manchester Cathedral on 30th October 1827. This started off a long line of Pierpoint Hollands.

Is there anyone out there who wants to exchange Pierpoint Holland information?

Hi Helen,
Mary Pierrepont HOLLAND was buried 14th March 1851 @ St Mary, Nottingham aged 39.

That was interesting.  MUST be a relative. Just need to work out where she comes in. I only have two Marys and they are Mary Anns. One born in 1811 and the other was her daughter. The eldest one was still alive in 1871.

My Mary Ann Pierrepoint was the first Pierrepoint Holland when she married John Holland in 1806 I think..  Now I will have to try and trace the one you found back to this family.

Thank you so much.
