I am looking for more info re jonathan priestley who married hannah clayton in 1773 Ovenden Yorkshire in the Parish of St John the Baptist - I would like to their parents, their siblings or their  births if any one could help, I am in NZ so dont have access to this, thanks

Ovenden is one of the townships in Halifax.
St John The Baptist is the parish church of Halifax. http://www.halifaxminster.org.uk/

There is no additional information in the register, and BOTH surnames are common in the local area. What can you provide as to kids, age & date of death(s) for these two?

If you spread the net to Wibsey and Clayton, then even more families are there.

my gt gt gt grandmother was sarah priestley who married a james priestley in 1811 in newington surrey, she was born in 1787 in wibsey to jonathan and hannah priestley nee clayton.  she had several brothers and sisters.  Her parents married in 1773.  dont know the age of her father when she was born or his date of birth, but he was a weaver who lived at edge end/wibsey area.   guessing that he was married for 14 yrs when sarah was born, he may have have been in his 40s when she was born he may have been born in the 1740s, two were found in 1747 and 1749, any help would be appreciated

Found a James Priestly birth son of James, October 1749 Low Moor Holy Trinity Parish Church.
